![]() ![]() MMD tools works in Blender 2.78 ^^ (Sometimes when you try to convert certain mmd models into cycles render it closes Blender for some reason. MMD tools addon works in Blender 2.77 as well ^^ (Edit: This tutorial works for all new versions of Blender)īlender 2.76 has been released and I checked to make sure the MMD tools addon works in it and it does ^^ If you want to download 2.75 I can help you find it on the site ^^ I don't think it's the stable version of 2.76 so I'm sticking with 2.75 for now. Here is the link to download Blender They just released Blender 2.76-rc1 while I was making this tutorial. If you can't get a model to work in Blender then you'll have to find another model to use instead. This is something I didn't put in the tutorial but I thought I would mention it here. If you have any questions feel free to ask I've only been using Blender for a few weeks and I'm still a noob so I may not be able to help if you have a question I don't know the answer to. This tutorial uses Blender 2.75 and the most recent version of MMD tools addon. I decided to make a MMD to Blender tutorial because all the ones I found were a couple of years old and were hard to follow because of changes in Blender and the MMD tools addon. I created an updated version of this tutorial.
